Touraj Ghanbar-zadeh founded All Nursing Health Services in 2004. Touraj is a recipient of an award from the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, recognizing his commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults.
Touraj holds a degree in Nursing and a Master’s in Health Administration. Touraj has held management positions at Kennedy Lodge, City of Toronto Homes for the Aged, Casa Verde Health Center, Villa Colombo Services for Seniors, Capilano Care Center, and Fair Haven United Church Homes.
According to Touraj, individuals of various ages and with diverse healthcare needs—both immediate and long-term—can maintain high-quality lifestyles well into old age if autonomy and independence are nurtured and promoted. Touraj asserts that people prefer to have a voice in the health care services they require, particularly regarding timeliness, accessibility to reliable services, and the ideal environment for receiving those services, which is often their own homes.
